We built a Surly Pugsley w/ Biox electric motor kit. The rims were custom laced with drilled out carbon fiber reinforced rims. The rims were built by our in-house wheel builder. If you’re interested in having custom built wheels like ours, please feel free to contact us.
We built it to showcase the Bionx which is a lithium powered pedal assist electric bike kit. We chose Surly Pugsley for two reasons. Impressive looks and for the ride.
Currently we’re only doing rentals for $5 for 15 minutes. Rentals are free with purchases for over $50. All rentals will be refunded if you purchase a Bionx kit from us.
For all of you that are unfamiliar with the Bionx kit, we describe it as a kit that transforms an ordinary bicycle into a scooter that doesn’t not require licensing, a title, insurance, a tab, or gasoline! Absolute silence. Very powerful. Easy to use. Fun ride.
