Icy Cat Race at Cherokee Park

liger.jpg

On Sunday, January 24th will be the 1st annual Ice Cat Race in west side St. Paul.
Looks like the course, which is secret, will be a short 5 miles - plowed streets, packed snow, and ice. Studded tires will of course be helpful, wide tires will be beneficial in some areas, slicks
would work elsewhere.

There will be a Christmas tree bonfire from the start to the finish to keep racers and spectators warm. If you have a Christmas tree to contribute, please bring it!

We’re having good lucks finding good size Christmas trees so far but more trees bigger fire!

We’ll also provide some hot beverages.

This will be a great opportunity to build up a super winter bike and to move your body!

We will have non-cash prizes that are useful for winter riding for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners.

Mark your calendar now and please make sure that you let us know if you’re participating the race.
