We are specialized in buying, selling, and servicing used bikes and we also sell new bikes and accessories.
All the used bikes we sell are cleaned, inspected, and given tuneup. Ready to ride condition!
You don’t have to pay anymore money unless you want to upgrade parts or accessories.
We offer FREE adjustments and 10% off any new bicycle accessory you may need within 30 days, if you buy a bicycle from us.
We provide the following services:
- Tuneup
- Repair
- Custom build
We heavily focus on a couple things that set us apart from other bike shops: providing “colors” in accessories and parts and converting the bike you have into a commuter friendly bike. For instance, if you need a little push, we can install an electric motor. If you need to carry a load of stuff, we can install a trailer on your bike.
We’re an authorized dealer of following products and many other major brands.
Frequently Asked Questions & Answers:
Q1. Where do you get your bikes?
A1. There are so many bikes that are left abandoned or thrown away in this world. At Capital Deals we pick up these bikes, fixed them up and sell them. We also do trade-ins and in-store purchases.
Q2. How do you know your bikes are not stolen property?
A2. Every bike we buy at Capital Deals is reported to the city of St. Paul and has to be held for 30 days. If any bike is stolen, it is given to police at our loss. It is not in our interest ethically or financially to buy any bike we suspect to be stolen.
Q3. Do you have any guarantee/warranty on your used and new bikes?
A3. Our first priority is to keep our customers happy. However, we sell used goods. Up until 30 days after the purchase we will take care of minor issue for free. If it’s partially our fault, we will provide service at a discounted rate. We’re not here to screw you.
Q4. Do you take returns on bikes?
A4. No. We do not pressure you to buy any thing. You make a choice and you stick with it. We’re not a big retail store that can afford to take any return.
Q5. Do you know how old your bikes are?
A5. We usually don’t know. We get so many used bikes and are unable to keep tracks of those information. Bikes are very simple, not like cars that have many parts. It’s easy to tell how well the bike is maintained or not. Age is not a big issue unless you’re looking for a specific bike from a specific age.
Q6. How do you measure the frame size?
A6. We measure the length of the seat post: from the center of the crank volt to the top of the seat tube.
Q7. How do you measure the standover height?
A7. We measure the height from the ground to to the top of the top tube.
Q8. How do I determine the right bike size?
A8. Just come in our store. One thing you must decide is that what kind of riding you will be doing. Commuting, racing, mountain biking, crusing, etc. There are many information on the internet about how to determine the right bike size. You can search keyword such as “right bike size” and read those pages to be familiar with general sizing information. You can read all day long but the most important thing is to feel the bike. Just get out your house and come to test ride all the potential bikes that fit you.
